Terms of Service

By accessing or using Kioku (the “Service”), operated by Jishu Labs, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

Kioku is an AI-powered decision and context memory platform. You capture the decisions your team makes and the reasoning behind them, then link related context imported from Slack, GitHub, meeting notes, and manual entry, all searchable through a semantic decision timeline and project spaces. The Service is available as a web application at kioku.jishulabs.com.

• You must provide a valid email address and create a password to use the Service.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must not share your account with others or allow unauthorized access.
• You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service.
• You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.

The free tier provides up to ten captured decisions per calendar month. Pro is billed at $15 per month through Stripe and includes unlimited decision capture and all source integrations. Usage limits reset on the first day of each month. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel at any time and retain access through the end of the current billing period. We reserve the right to modify pricing or usage limits with reasonable notice. Abuse of the free tier (such as creating multiple accounts to circumvent limits) may result in account suspension.

You agree to use the Service in line with our Acceptable Use Policy. In particular, you agree not to:

• Use the Service to violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
• Submit content intended to capture or distribute harmful, abusive, or unlawful material
• Bypass rate limits, quotas, authentication, or security controls
• Use automated tools to excessively access the Service beyond normal usage
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service

You retain all ownership rights to the decisions and context you capture in Kioku. Kioku does not claim ownership of your decisions or your linked context, and you are free to use, modify, and export them in your own projects. The Service itself — its design, features, integrations, and branding — is the intellectual property of Jishu Labs.

The summaries, search results, and linked context Kioku surfaces are provided “as is” for your use. While we strive for accurate, relevant output, AI-assisted results should be reviewed before you rely on them for important decisions. You are responsible for verifying the reasoning, alternatives, and context against your own records. Kioku is not liable for any issues arising from reliance on AI-assisted results without review.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of data as described there.

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of planned downtime. Current status is published at our status page.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jishu Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claims arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violations of these terms. You may delete your account at any time through Settings, which will permanently remove all your data. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or prominent notice on the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
